Proposals for the Assassin’s Creed series
Ubisoft should end the series.
And at most start a new IP with elements taken from it.
But if I had to indicate an ideal Assassin’s Creed, these would be some musts:
Setting
- Present
Setting Sarajevo, 1914
Gavrilo Princip (protagonist)
- Past
Expedition of the Thousand, 1860
No open world, dispersive and unnecessarily long, counterproductive, does not do justice to the attention to detail and the iconicity of the setting. Few limited areas but more cared for.
Gameplay
No RPG, mechanics totally alien and misleading from the formula of the saga.
No ships (seriously).
Slower and more realistic combat style, inspired by For Honor
Maximum attention to parkour, its fluidity and verisimilitude
Narrative
Attention to realism and historical facts
Greater attention to the charisma of the characters (protagonist and antagonist above all) and their motivations
